PERCEFOULE Project

This project (2017-2020) is supported by "Investissements d'Avenir du LabEx PALM (ANR-10-LABX-0039-PALM)"

Our focus will be on the dynamics of crowds at intermediate or high densities.
We shall compare various methods of pedestrian tracking. We are in particular interested in the use of Kinect cameras, which has the advantage to guarantee the anonymity of data.
We will collect data both in ad-hoc experiments and in real life situations. A first set of experiments was already organized on the 28th of June 2017.

In the frame of the project, we also organize an interdisciplinary working group with a monthly seminar on various subjects dealing with pedestrians and crowds. You can register here to receive our announcements.
