Workshop on "Current Trends in Flavor Physics" at Institut Henri Poincaré, Paris, 29 — 31 March 2017

Members of our laboratory are organizing a workshop on “Current trends in Flavor Physics” which will take place at Institut Henri Poincaré (Paris) from 29 to 31 March 2017.

The aim of this meeting is to discuss new trends in flavor physics, both in the quark and in the lepton sectors.

We will discuss the recent experimental achievements in flavour physics and their interplay with theoretical progress in describing the weak and strong interactions among quarks and leptons, with the goal of identifying new directions which will further improve our understanding of physics of flavour and (hopefully) unveil the effects of physics beyond the Standard Model. New theoretical ideas and progress in taming the hadronic uncertainties will be discussed too.

This three-day event is also the kick-off meeting of the French GDR "Intensity Frontier", and it is a part of the European Horizon2020 TWINNING project "RBI-T-WINNING".
